CERAMIC COATING AFTER CARE AND MAINTENANCE

WASHING SUGGESTIONS

  • For best results the car should be washed on a bi-weekly basis to avoid excessive contamination build-up.

  • Use only recommended PH Neutral soaps like Reclaim or Bubbles V.2.

  • Avoid high volume brush style car washes, and high PH detergent style cleaners.

  • Avoid washing in direct sunlight to minimize streaking and water spotting.

  • Wash from the top down leaving the dirtiest sections for last to avoid cross contamination.

  • Use a deionizer to purify and cleanse the water from minerals that create hard water spots.

  • Use a 2 or 3 bucket wash system method.

  • Rinse your car off with a pressure washer or garden hose prior to applying soap.

  • Dry with a clean microfiber towel or use a forced air system!

  • Use a foam gun (optimal) or chenille wash mitt to soap down the car.

SPRAY 'N WASH SELF CAR WASHES

  • Take Bubbles V.2 with you and two buckets.

  • In the first bucket, put just water and in the 2nd put 1 to 3 ounces of Bubbles V.2 and mix.

  • Rinse the car first with the water from the car wash.

  • Then soap the car down with a wash mitt and bubbles.

  • Rinse off the soap with the pressure hose.

  • Dry with a microfiber towel or portable air blower.

  • Never use the car wash brushes

DRIVE THRU CAR WASHES

  • Touch-less car washes only.

  • Never use a car wash with brushes! Never select the “spray wax” option if your car has the spray wax option.

DRYING

  • Using forced air to dry your car is the best way to remove water and the quickest!

  • Always dry completely and never leave to “air” dry. Tap water contains minerals that may leave deposits creating water spots.

  • Only use quality microfiber towels for best results and avoid aggressive wiping, allowing the material to absorb the water.

SPOT REMOVAL

  • Never use aggressive products to polish the coating or remove surface contamination.

  • Never use excessive force to remove spots.

  • Bird droppings, tar, sap, etc. should be removed as soon as possible to avoid temporary staining or hardening on the coating. Any staining left behind from bird droppings will break down over a few days without affecting the coating.

AFTER WASHING

  • Use Sleek (Ceramic SiO2 Sealant) to extend the life and maintain the coating.

  • Use Regen to build the coating and add more layers of SiO2

LEATHER AND FABRIC MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

  • For best results, all leather/vinyl surfaces should be cleaned bi-weekly with a Corium & Lush to avoid contaminant build-up and replenish the natural oils.

  • Vacuum carpets regularly and use Silk (carpet & fabric cleaner) when necessary.

  • Ceramic coat your interior fabric with Zone to prevent staining!

  • Immediately wipe off spills on leather, vinyl, or fabric.
